Job Summary:
VitalRay Health Solutions is seeking to hire a Radiologist who will be responsible for interpreting
medical images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Perform or interpret the outcomes of diagnostic imaging procedures including magnetic
   resonance imaging (MRI), computer tomography (CT), Ultrasound and X-Ray.
2. Document the performance, interpretation, or outcomes of all exams performed.
3. Evaluate medical information to determine patients’ risk factors, such as allergies to contrast
   agents, or to make decisions regarding the appropriateness of procedures.
4. Instruct radiologic staff in desired techniques, positions, or projections.
5. Obtain patients’ histories from electronic records, patient interviews, dictated reports, or by
   communicating with referring doctors.
6. Prepare comprehensive interpretive reports of findings.
7. Interpret images using computer-aided detection or diagnosis systems.
8. Serve as an offsite tele-radiologist when needed.
9. Ensure the policies and procedures of VitalRay Health Solutions are applied and adhered to.
10. Ensure effective and economic use of resources and report all occurrences of defects, which
    may affect health and safety of patients and staff.
11. Liaise and communicate with all other staff in a courteous and helpful manner at all times.
12. Take responsibility for your own professional development in the role, in accordance with
    Continual Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
13. Ensure that complaints and incidents are dealt with appropriately and reported to
    management in accordance with company policies.
    Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
    > Masters Degree in Radiology.
    > Must be registered and licensed with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
    > Valid annual retention certificate.
    > Sound decision making and problem solving skills.
    > Excellent communication skills.
    > Strong interpersonal skills, able to manage interactions with varied personalities.
